That picture is awesome! I find it striking what a good job VW did with the design of the New Beetle. It is exactly what you would expect if you take the last Beetle design (basically yours) and fast-forward 20 years.
But, wouldn't be a stronger statement to have the '73 tow the New Beetle? ;-)
